  • DESCRIPTION

Picea abies 'Inversa' is a strong-growing, strict-weeping selection of Norway spruce with an extremely random and unpredictable growth habit. No two specimens will grow in the same manner (unless staked when young).

From the point where support is lacking, the main branch hangs down sharply. All lateral branches also hang down sharply, close up against the trunk.

At a more mature age, the lateral branches even grow along the ground, creating a very characteristic shape.
