    Buxus microphylla 'Faulkner', Buxus sempervirens 'Faulkner' or Box Faulkner is a low-growing and compact evergreen shrub which is a popular choice for making hedge mazes.

    Box Faulkner has shiny green and yellow leaves that have a leathery texture and a pleasing “fresh” aroma. Its dense foliage makes it ideal for shaping into topiary or manicured hedges.

    Alternatively, because it only reaches heights of between 100cm – 150cm at maturity, it is popular as a low maintenance choice that can be left to its own devices.

    Despite its small size, Box Faulkner is very a tough plant and it shows good resilience towards the harsh British weather.

    Grows best in well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade, although it can be scorched by sun and strong winds. 

    No pruning required, but it can be trimmed and shaped (if desired) each year in early-spring. Protect against Box Blight, Box Rust and Caterpillars.

    Despite its small size, Box Faulkner is very a tough plant and it shows good resilience towards harsh weather.
